To describe myself in a sentence, I'd quote Bruce Chatwin: “Travel doesn’t merely broaden the mind. It makes the mind.”

I started traveling when I was 12, thanks to CISV, a global organization dedicated to peace education through intercultural friendship and understanding. This experience inspired me to become a tourism professional, a job that allows me to have daily contact with people from all over the world, which I love!

I graduated in Economics and Management of Tourism Services at the University of Bologna and since 1998 I’ve been working for Modenatur, incoming tour operator promoting Modena and its region, where I’m now director. I’m also the coordinator of the Tourist Office of Modena. I joined IWA in 2018 since I find it's amazing to have the opportunity to share friendship and projects supporting the local community with a group of women coming from all over the world.
